Friday Postponement Creates Sportsman Modified Doubleheader at Lake View Saturday
Friday's program at Lake View Motor Speedway will now begin at 4 p.m. Saturday, with Northeast Sportsman Modifieds now enjoying two races on Saturday.
Despite the best efforts of Lake View Motor Speedway's officials and track staff on Friday, November 15, the first evening of racing for the Northeast Sportsman Modified Southern Assault have been postponed due to track conditions.

Instead, Sportsman Modified teams will complete the Friday program on Saturday, November 16 beginning with hot laps at 4 p.m. ET. The Sportsman Modifieds will hot lap, time trial, and then line up for their 25-lap feature originally scheduled for Friday.
The originally scheduled Saturday program will follow, with hot laps estimated to start at 6:30 p.m. ET. The Sportsman Modifieds' second feature will be 30 laps, with Bell & Bell Vintage cars, Street Stocks, Fred's Tire & Auto Stock V8s and Crown Vics also racing on Saturday evening.
While blue skies shone over Lake View Motor Speedway on Friday, the facility experienced significant rainfall on Thursday afternoon and evening. Competitors took the track for practice on Friday after considerable track preparation, but ultimately, the decision was made following the opening rounds of practice to postpone Friday's scheduled racing.
Grandstands will open at 3 p.m. Saturday for fans attending the event in person. Those unable to attend in person can watch live on Saturday afternoon and evening with a subscription to RacingAmerica.TV.
